Today’s Fire pictures
Shot a few from various streets just south of Loma Alta, the evacuation line, and from my roof again. Very close to the house today. No DC10 making drops here today, and that’s too bad because the fire is marching toward Mt. Wilson’s transmission towers. By morning it’s estimated the fire will have consumed 100,000 acres. But better now, in mild winds, than when the Santa Anas kick in during October/November.

My heart goes out to you and those whose lives are affected by this unfortunate incident, or should I say, tragedy. I would like to add that you are a magnificent photographer.
Thanks for the good wishes! Still smoky and ash all over our cars. The sun’s been red for days. And all because of arson. So this is now a homicide investigation. I think it’s amazing that only two people died with this fire’s huge size. Nearly 150,000 acres as of today. I’ll post my friend’s video this weekend. Thanks for reading/viewing!
