Had to interrup the bucolic Arboretum series with this dose of reality. Flooding hit the foothills hard this morning, damaging or destroying several homes on or near Ocean View La Canada. Nearby Sierra Madre is also evacuating some folks. Had nearly 3″ of rain and everything’s letting loose.
