What’s better than one beautiful orchid? Several, of course.
Headed back to the photo trade show PMA today. Lots of cool new equipment and software coming out. Will share!

Shrimp plant
I think the shrimp plants in my yard have succombed. Time to get some more. Those “tongues” remind me of bearded irises.

Squirrel POV
The intention of the day was to shoot winterscapes. But it was more like spring. Adapt, adapt!

A Zen moment at sunset
Sometimes the best shots are the last shots of the day.

Let’s face it, flowers often have very sexual appearance. The Calla Lily is at the top of the list. Prettier in pink, me thinks. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Greetings! Here are the rest of the shots from yesterday morning. Also a few shots of the dump trucks and equipment being used to clear things out. No rain for a while so people should have a chance to recover. With all this snow and rain the hills should be very green very soon. And the wildflowers should be gorgeous this year.
I’ll be in Tejon Pass Saturday getting serious winter shots. Ok, not as serious as what’s happening in Philly and mid-Atlantic. Our nephew is there going to school, but not these days! California boy snowed in. More Arboretum shots starting tomorrow.
Abundantly yours…
