Last Evening’s Rainbows

We were treated to a double rainbow at sunset yesterday, as raindrops continued to fall below the foothills that got their own snow dusting. Gorgeous–and cold! Us wimps here in SoCal arent’ used to this! I took this at Woodbury and Fair Oaks.

Altadena’s Peacocks Running Afowl

Caught these crazy birds out in the rain Saturday. Neither rain nor sleet are keeping these peacocks from roaming. You can occassionally see them near Glenrose and Loma Alta. And you can hear them for blocks.

Here are pix from friends who are on Canyon Crest in a flood area in what’s called The Meadows. This is near the recent burn area. Not sure why this didn’t post yesterday, but here goes.
